Imagine this: The Roots meet the Red Hot Chili Peppers, then rock out even harder. Meet Femi and the Foundation. Balancing powerful and raw sound with fearless experimentation, they seamlessly blend funk, rock, hip-hop, r&b in a unique way that captivates, inspires, and centers on powerful storytelling.

Based in Washington, DC, they have quickly established themselves as a headlining act and as broad-reaching collaborators, drawing large crowds at some of DC's most iconic regional venues (Songbyrd, Pearl Street Warehouse) and community music festivals (Fridays at the Fountain, AdMo/Petworth Porchfest). Their debut effort “Wrong Side of the Sun” was released on August 15th 2025.
